Qualifications

• Candidates should demonstrate strong subject mastery in mathematics and science and be able to implement IB-aligned lessons.
• Ability to design engaging, standards-based lessons and use a range of teaching strategies for diverse learners.
• Experience with formative assessment, feedback to students and parents, and collaborative planning with colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Instructional Planning and Delivery: Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and objectives; use varied teaching strategies and technology to enhance outcomes.
• Classroom Management: Create a positive, inclusive environment; set expectations for behavior and performance; manage student behavior per school policies.
• Assessment and Evaluation: Design and administer assessments; analyze data to identify gaps and adjust strategies; provide timely feedback to students and parents.

Key Responsibilities

• 1 Instructional Planning and Delivery Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with the curriculum standards and learning objectives Utilize a range of teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities Incorporate technology and other innovative tools to enhance teaching and learning outcomes
• 2 Classroom Management Establish and maintain a positive respectful and inclusive classroom environment Establish clear expectations for behavior and academic performance Oversee and regulate student behavior in line with school policies
• 3 Assessment and Evaluation Design and administer assessments to evaluate student understanding and progress Analyze assessment data to identify learning gaps and adjust instructional strategies accordingly Provide timely and constructive feedback to students and parents
• 4 Student Support and Engagement Offer additional support to students needing extra help through tutoring or individualized learning plans Encourage and challenge students to reach their full potential in mathematics Promote a growth mindset and enthusiasm for learning
