Qualifications

• Candidates should demonstrate strong subject mastery in mathematics and science and be able to implement IB-aligned lessons.
• Ability to design engaging, standards-based lessons and use a range of teaching strategies for diverse learners.
• Experience with formative assessment, feedback to students and parents, and collaborative planning with colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Instructional Planning and Delivery: Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and objectives; use varied teaching strategies and technology to enhance outcomes.
• Classroom Management: Create a positive, inclusive environment; set expectations for behavior and performance; manage student behavior per school policies.
• Assessment and Evaluation: Design and administer assessments; analyze data to identify gaps and adjust strategies; provide timely feedback to students and parents.
• Student Support and Engagement: Provide tutoring or individualized plans; encourage curiosity and growth mindset.
• Professional Collaboration and Development: Collaborate with colleagues; share best practices; participate in PD and communicate with families.
• Contribution to School Community: Participate in school events and extracurriculars; support school mission with professional conduct.
