Job summary

Esnad Contracting is seeking Material Receiving Inspectors for Mechanical & Piping and Electrical disciplines to support an infrastructure project in Jeddah. You will ensure materials meet submittals, project specs, and quality requirements before release for installation.

Responsibilities include inspecting incoming materials, reviewing certificates, preparing MIRs, coordinating with consultants and client representatives, and maintaining accurate inspection records to support timely material

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• 5–7 years of relevant material receiving inspection experience.
• Saudi Aramco, NEOM, or Red Sea project approvals required.
• Knowledge of material specs, inspection procedures, and traceability.
• Experience preparing MIRs and coordinating consultant inspections.
• Proficient in inspection docs and document management; ACC familiarity preferred.
• Good English and strong communication and coordination skills.

• Ensure proper unloading, storage, segregation, and preservation of materials.
• Identify nonconforming materials and initiate corrective actions.
• Maintain inspection records and coordinate with procurement, warehouse, construction and QA/QC teams.

We are seeking qualified Material Receiving Inspectors for separate positions in Mechanical & Piping and Electrical disciplines to support our infrastructure project in Jeddah.

Successful candidates will ensure that materials delivered to the site comply with approved technical submittals, project specifications, and quality requirements before release for installation.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming materials against approved submittals, purchase orders, delivery documents, and technical specifications.
• Perform visual and dimensional inspections to identify damage, defects, corrosion, and discrepancies.
• Verify material grades, dimensions, ratings, identification markings, and traceability within the respective discipline.
• Review material certificates, compliance documents, and applicable factory acceptance and third-party inspection reports.
• Prepare and submit Material Inspection Requests (MIRs) and coordinate inspections with consultants and client representatives.
• Ensure proper unloading, handling, storage, segregation, and preservation of materials.
• Identify nonconforming materials, initiate relevant reports, and follow up on corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and coordinate with procurement, warehouse, construction, and QA/QC teams to support timely material approvals.

• 5-7 years of relevant experience in material receiving inspection within the respective discipline.
• Approval from Saudi Aramco, NEOM, or Red Sea projects is required.
