Job summary

Esnad Contracting is seeking Material Receiving Inspectors for Mechanical & Piping and Electrical disciplines to support an infrastructure project in Jeddah. You will ensure materials meet submittals, project specs, and quality requirements before release for installation.

Responsibilities include inspecting incoming materials, reviewing certificates, preparing MIRs, coordinating with consultants and client representatives, and maintaining accurate inspection records to support timely material

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• 5–7 years of relevant material receiving inspection experience.
• Saudi Aramco, NEOM, or Red Sea project approvals required.
• Knowledge of material specs, inspection procedures, and traceability.
• Experience preparing MIRs and coordinating consultant inspections.
• Proficient in inspection docs and document management; ACC familiarity preferred.
• Good English and strong communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming materials against submittals, PO, delivery docs and specs.
• Perform visual and dimensional inspections for damage, defects, corrosion, and discrepancies.
• Verify material grades, dimensions, ratings, identifications, and traceability.
• Review material certificates, compliance docs, and third party inspection reports.
• Prepare and submit MIRs and coordinate inspections with consultants and client reps.
• Ensure proper unloading, storage, segregation, and preservation of materials.
• Identify nonconforming materials and initiate corrective actions.
• Maintain inspection records and coordinate with procurement, warehouse, construction and QA/QC teams.
