Qualifications

• Certification or diploma in Massage Therapy, Spa Therapy or related field.
• Previous massage therapist experience preferred.
• Knowledge of various massage techniques and their applications.
• Understanding of hygiene, sanitation and client safety procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional appearance and behavior.
• Ability to maintain client confidentiality and boundaries.
• Good stamina to stand and perform massages for extended periods.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

Consult with clients to understand their needs preferences and any relevant physical concerns.

Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish deep tissue sports aromatherapy relaxation and other treatments according to qualifications.

Customize treatments based on each client s requirements and comfort level.

Maintain a clean hygienic and welcoming treatment environment.

Prepare treatment rooms and ensure all equipment linens oils and supplies are properly maintained.

Follow health safety hygiene and sanitation procedures at all times.

Maintain client confidentiality and professional boundaries.

Provide appropriate after-treatment care instructions and wellness recommendations.

Monitor clients comfort throughout the treatment and adjust techniques when necessary.

Requirements
