Job summary

WEICHAI MIDDLE EAST is seeking an Overseas Market Development Specialist to grow the construction machinery business with overseas OEMs, dealers and customers in the Middle East.

The role requires a bachelor degree in engineering, 1–3 years of overseas market or export sales experience, fluent English, and the ability to communicate with international clients; knowledge of Arabic, Chinese or Persian is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years or more of experience in overseas markets or export sales.
• Fluent in English, capable of independent business negotiations, written emails, and exhibition presentations.
• Able to connect with overseas customers without barriers; Arabic, Chinese or Persian preferred.
• Priority for Middle East overseas market development and dealer management experience.
• Familiar with overseas sales models for construction machinery/engine products.

Responsibilities

• Develop overseas market, customers, and maintenance for construction machinery.
• Analyze product markets, feedback needs, and competitor information in the jurisdiction.
• Participate in overseas exhibitions, online promotions, and customer visits.
• Provide service support for export products and overseas KD/engineering projects.
• Coordinate with R&D, production, and other departments to meet customer needs.
• Maintain feedback on market quality information and training in the region.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for overseas market development, customer development and maintenance of construction machinery, covering overseas OEMs, dealers, terminal enterprise customers, etc.
• Responsible for product market analysis and research, analysis and feedback on product needs, customer information and competitor information in the area under jurisdiction, customers.
• Participate in overseas exhibitions, online promotions, customer visits and other marketing activities to complete product overseas promotion.
• Responsible for service support for export products of domestic OEMs, overseas KD assembly plants or engineering projects of Chinese-funded institutions.
• Responsible for synchronizing overseas customer needs, product feedback, and market dynamics to R&D, production, technology and other departments, and collaboratively solving customer needs, business and other issues.
• Responsible for maintenance service support of products in overseas markets, customer training within the jurisdiction, etc.
• Responsible for feedback on market quality information of the office.

Required Skills

• 1-3 years or more of experience in overseas markets, foreign trade sales, and customer development in engineering machinery and engine-related industries.
• Fluent in English, capable of independent business negotiations, written emails, and exhibition presentations; able to connect with overseas customers without any barriers; mastering Arabic, Chinese, Persian, etc. is preferred.
• Priority will be given to those with experience in overseas market development in the Middle East and dealer development and maintenance is an advantage.
• Be familiar with the overseas sales model of construction machinery/engine products, KD projects, and overseas engineering business models.
• Experience in overall management of customer channels; experience in collaborative management of project business teams is preferred.
• Can independently coordinate regional market work, coordinate dealer and customer resources, and have cross-departmental collaborative management capabilities.
• Overseas working experience is preferred.
• Proficient in using Office suites (PPT, Excel, Word).
• Able to independently produce marketing plans and sales reports.
• Able to use online meeting tools and master the operation of basic online marketing tools.

Technical Skilss

• Be familiar with the basic technical knowledge of engineering machinery engines, and be able to promote products to customers and answer basic technical questions.
• Master the basic processes of overseas marketing, business negotiations, and foreign trade.
• Understand the market policies, business habits, and local trade rules of the Middle East.
• Have market research, competitive product analysis, and customer demand mining capabilities.
