Job description

Your primary role is to enhance downstream assets overall performance. You will also be responsible for coordinating with various departments within each asset, collecting and analyzing manufacturing and financial performance data, and providing strategic recommendations to enhance long‑term performance and support them in reaching their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a central point of contact for asset teams, facilitating communication and information sharing between GME and assigned assets.
• Design standardized methodologies to collect, maintain, analyze and present assets' operational and financial performance data.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with assigned asset teams across Saudi Aramco downstream portfolio assets.
• Monitor and manage or coordinate information requests, assessments and site visits between GME and the Saudi Aramco downstream portfolio assets.
• Collect, track and provide asset data and performance metrics, and collaborate with relevant teams to proactively identify areas for improvement and develop recommendations for enhancement.
• Identify and manage potential risks associated with assigned assets' performance.
• Prepare presentations and reports to communicate GME programs, initiatives, strategies to assigned asset teams and senior leadership.
• Analyze and evaluate the financial and operational performance of Saudi Aramco downstream assets (e.g., cash OPEX, turnarounds performance, maintenance costs, etc.).
• Benchmark asset performance against industry leaders as well as other Saudi Aramco downstream assets, utilizing standard oil and gas performance benchmarks (e.g., Solomon benchmarks or internal performance data).
• Create and maintain models for reporting manufacturing and financial results and conduct regular full potential assessments and gap studies of Saudi Aramco downstream assets.
• Participate in the development of asset performance dashboards and reporting tools.
• Stay up-to-date with global and regional downstream industry trends, market conditions and regulatory changes that may impact asset performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering and knowledge in finance or Business Administration or a related field.
• 10 years of asset management, or a related role within the downstream oil & gas industry.
• Experience in downstream oil & gas business benchmarking and performance management frameworks, such as Solomon or RAM.
• Experience in leading cross‑functional initiatives and managing high‑level stakeholder relationships.
• Strong understanding of downstream oil & gas operations, including refining and petrochemicals.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship‑building skills.
• Experience working with data analysis tools and performance metrics, as well as presentation and reporting tools (e.g., MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint).
