Overview

Your primary role is to support the development and deployment of technology management programs aimed at providing technical support across Saudi Aramco Global Manufacturing portfolio. You will ideate, introduce, deploy and sustain novel and innovative technological solutions within various domains, including reliability, maintenance, sustainability, energy and process.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end implementation of technologies across the downstream portfolio including petrochemical facilities, refineries, terminals, bulk plants and gas plants.
• Develop comprehensive value‑adding technology roadmaps aligned to business challenges such as energy optimization, sustainability, plant availability, debottlenecking and process optimization.
• Accelerate technology deployment working closely with internal and external execution agencies and vendors.
• Conduct feasibility studies, including technical and economic evaluation of solutions, platforms and new technologies.
• Perform technology scouting to enable the identification of innovative and value‑adding technologies.
• Develop business case and cost‑benefit analysis for technology deployment.
• Work with other consultants, engineers and project managers to deliver comprehensive solutions that address both technical and business requirements.
• Prepare reports and presentations to communicate the progress and benefits of technology initiatives to peers, relevant stakeholders and senior management.
• Collaborate with technology providers in developing and conducting tailored training content and programs to support the implementation and adoption of technologies by end‑users.
• Recognize and introduce necessary changes to standard and governance.
• Stay abreast of global and regional oil and gas industry trends, market conditions and regulatory changes that may impact technology implementations.
• Ensure compliance with corporate governance and standards.
• Evaluate solution implementations and identify necessary changes to standards and governance.

Minimum Requirements

• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field (Chemical, Industrial, Electrical, or Mechanical). A Master's degree is preferred.
• Have 10‑15 years of experience as a Technology Consultant ideating, scouting, introducing and tracking value‑added technology deployment.
• Have a good understanding of downstream technologies, including but not limited to refinery processes.
• Have experience developing business case and benefit‑cost analysis for downstream technology.
• Have experience working collaboratively in cross‑functional teams across the project lifecycle, fostering effective communication and cooperation.
• Demonstrate excellent understanding of management of change, engineering and design package, regulatory risk mitigation and safety requirements.
• Have experience in change management, including developing and implementing technology changes.
• Understand relevant industry energy, safety and design regulations and standards to ensure compliance of proposed technology solutions.
• Understand manufacturing technology solutions enabling key process areas including production, reliability, environmental, safety and sustainability.
• Strong project management skills with a proven track record of successfully leading and delivering complex technology implementation projects in the O&G business.
• Ability to effectively collaborate with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
