Job summary

JASARA PMC is seeking an experienced Manager for the HSE department to oversee the development and implementation of HSE policies, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations on major construction projects.

The role requires strong leadership, risk assessment expertise, and a track record of implementing successful HSE programs across multiple projects, with English fluency and Arabic as an advantage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in HSE management, preferably in the construction sector.
• Certifications in HSE (e.g., NEBOSH, ISO 14001) are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement HSE policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Lead the HSE team in conducting risk assessments, audits, and inspections to identify hazards and implement mitigation strategies.
• Provide strategic direction and management for HSE initiatives across all projects and departments.
• Facilitate incident investigations, identify root causes, and ensure implementation of corrective actions.
• Organize and deliver HSE training programs to enhance safety awareness among employees and subcontractors.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HSE regulations and emerging trends within the industry.
• Prepare and present comprehensive reports on HSE performance to senior management.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure HSE considerations are integrated into project planning and execution.
