Ever wondered who really keeps the cloud safe while everyone else is busy building in it? In this pivotal role, you will in define how security is designed, embedded and governed across the organisation.
You'll take ownership of enforcing cloud security standards by strengthening baselines and configurations across compute, storage, networking, identity and container services.
A key part of the role is establishing and maintaining a robust cloud security governance framework, aligning policies and baselines with recognised standards such as CIS Benchmarks, NIST CSF, ISO 27001 and CSA CCM.
You'll lead cloud security reviews for new initiatives, migrations and third-party integrations, providing clear architectural guidance and acting as a key approval gate From a leadership perspective, you'll guide and mentor cloud and security teams setting clear expectations, encouraging best practice, and fostering a strong security-first culture across the organisation.
You'll also present executive-level insight on cloud security posture, risk trends and programme maturity to senior leadership and board-level committees.

Degree qualified, with a minimum of 7 years' experience in Cybersecurity, including at least 3 years specialising in Cloud Security.
Proven, hands-on experience securing cloud environments across one or more major platforms, including AWS, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform.
Naturally, you will have strong experience with CSPM / CNAPP tools and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), alongside solid expertise in network security fundamentals such as firewalls, WAF, VPNs and Zero Trust architectures..
