Job summary

Riyadh Air is seeking a cybersecurity leader to define how security is designed, embedded and governed across the organisation's cloud landscape. The role focuses on enforcing security baselines for compute, storage, networking, identity and container services, and guiding secure deployment practices.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of cybersecurity experience, including 3+ years in cloud security.
• Experience securing cloud environments on AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with CSPM / CNAPP tools and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC).
• Strong understanding of firewalls, WAF, VPNs and Zero Trust architectures.

Responsibilities

• Define how security is designed, embedded and governed across the organisational cloud.
• Enforce cloud security baselines across compute, storage, networking, identity and containers.
• Establish and maintain a governance framework aligned with CIS, NIST CSF, ISO 27001 and CSA CCM.
• Lead cloud security reviews for new initiatives, migrations and third-party integrations; provide architectural guidance and act as an approval gate.
• Mentor cloud and security teams and promote a security-first culture.
• Present executive-level insight on cloud security posture, risk trends and programme maturity to leadership.
