Job summary

Astek Middle East is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer for a large-scale digital transformation program in Riyadh. You will help secure enterprise infrastructure, applications, cloud environments, and business systems by implementing security best practices, monitoring threats, and responding to incidents.

This onsite role requires a Bachelor's in a related field and at least 4 years of hands-on experience in security, SIEM, cloud security, and ISO 27001/NIST CSF.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain cybersecurity controls across enterprise infrastructure.
• Monitor security events and investigate alerts using security monitoring tools.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and support remediation activities.
• Participate in incident response, threat analysis, and root cause investigations.
• Implement endpoint, network, and cloud security best practices.
• Perform security risk assessments and recommend mitigation plans.
• Support compliance with cybersecurity frameworks, policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, application, and network teams to improve security posture.
• Assist with security audits, penetration testing activities, and security documentation.
• Prepare technical reports and maintain security documentation in both Arabic and English when required.

The successful candidate will help secure enterprise infrastructure, applications, cloud environments, and business systems by implementing security best practices, monitoring threats, responding to incidents, and ensuring compliance with organizational security standards.

This is an onsite position based in Riyadh.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Security, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of hands-on cybersecurity experience.
• Experience securing enterprise IT infrastructure.
• Knowledge of network security, endpoint security, identity and access management, and vulnerability management.
• Experience with SIEM platforms and security monitoring.
• Good understanding of security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST CSF, or CIS Controls.
• Familiarity with cloud security concepts (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Experience responding to security incidents and conducting investigations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
