Job summary

St. Regis Hotels & Resorts on Ummahat Island is seeking an experienced maintenance technician to respond to guest repair requests and perform preventative maintenance on hotel tools and equipment.

The role requires communicating with guests, inspecting equipment, locating shut-off valves, and maintaining inventory. Candidates should have at least 2 years of related work experience, a technical or vocational degree, and the ability to work safely and professionally.

Qualifications

• Two years of related maintenance experience preferred
• Strong communication and guest service skills are required
• Ability to follow safety policies and procedures

Responsibilities

• Respond and attend to guest repair requests.
• Communicate with guests to resolve maintenance issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment, including cleaning and lubrication.
• Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines.
• Identify, locate, and operate all shut-off valves for equipment.
• Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed.
• Record information for unfinished calls prior to shift change.
