Job summary

Afreen International in Jeddah is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the preparation, cleaning and redressing of Wellbore Cleaning Tools. The role requires hands-on leadership in a busy workshop, ensuring safety, quality, and timely delivery of tools for downhole operations.

You will manage shift crews, coordinate with Downhole Tools, Completions, Liner Hanger and Fishing teams, maintain inventory per SOPs, and report to the Workshop Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technical Diploma with sufficient experience; government license preferred.
• Requires 5 years’ experience in Oil & Gas downhole tools.
• 2-3 years in Wellbore department.

Responsibilities

• Ensure QHSE fully implemented and sustained.
• Monitor workshop team while cleaning, painting, redressing and preparing WBC tools.
• Maintain workshop housekeeping.
• Fill required documents for assigned jobs.
• Provide daily reports to direct manager; monitor asset & inventory as per SOPs.
• Finalize required training/courses.
• Perform pressure tests per operation standard.
• Work two shifts (Day/Night) as required.
• Train new junior employees.
• Must hold forklift license.
• Understand BHA and tool assembly.
• Competent in torque machine operation.
• Knowledge of lifting equipment and risk assessments.
• Knowledge of workshop checklists (forklift, crane, torque machine).
• Redress critical tools.
• Visit rig site twice/year.
• Responsible for organizing handling tools and reporting damages/shortages.
• Follow up on consumables.
• Sign delivery/back-load checklists.
• Ready to cover Workshop Manager position temporarily.
• Follow up with 3rd party inspection.
• Perform any task assigned by Workshop Manager.
