Job summary

The Chedi Hegra in Medina invites an experienced bartender to join our luxury hospitality team. Prepare and serve a variety of cocktails and beverages according to standard recipes, engage guests with recommendations, and maintain a pristine bar area.

You will handle POS and inventory, work flexible hours including evenings and holidays, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and alcohol service regulations. Prior luxury resort experience and beverage certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a bartender in high-end hospitality.
• Knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, wines and spirits.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Legal eligibility to work in the country and age compliance for alcohol service.
• Familiarity with POS systems and inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Prepare mix and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes.
• Engage warmly with guests offering drink recommendations and sharing knowledge of signature menu items.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, tools and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with health safety and legal requirements related to beverage service.
• Restock bar inventory and supplies as needed, conducting regular checks to optimize workflow.
• Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming, efficient atmosphere and resolve guest concerns.
