Job summary

The Chedi Hegra in Medina invites an experienced bartender to join our luxury hospitality team. Prepare and serve a variety of cocktails and beverages according to standard recipes, engage guests with recommendations, and maintain a pristine bar area.

You will handle POS and inventory, work flexible hours including evenings and holidays, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and alcohol service regulations. Prior luxury resort experience and beverage certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a bartender in high-end hospitality.
• Knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, wines and spirits.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Legal eligibility to work in the country and age compliance for alcohol service.
• Familiarity with POS systems and inventory management.

Proven experience as a bartender in a high-end hotel, restaurant, or hospitality venue. Strong knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, wines, and spirits. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with a guest-centric mindset. Ability to multitask, work efficiently under pressure, and maintain composure during peak hours. Excellent attention to detail, personal grooming, and a polished appearance. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays onsite at The Chedi Hegra. Legal eligibility to work in the country and age compliance for alcohol service.Beverage or mixology certifications (e.g., WSET, Mixologist training). Previous experience in the luxury resort or high-end hospitality segment. Basic understanding of local flavors and trends to inspire unique creations. Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and inventory management software.
