Logistics Coordinator


A leading logistics company based in Riyadh is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Logistics Coordinator to join our team. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the transportation and distribution of goods within Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position that requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and carriers to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Plan and schedule shipments according to customer demand and budget constraints
- Monitor shipment progress and resolve any issues that may arise
- Maintain accurate records of all shipments and logistics activities
- Communicate with customers regarding order status and delivery updates
- Identify areas for improvement in the logistics process and implement solutions
- Ensure compliance with all local laws, regulations, and customs requirements
- Collaborate with other departments such as procurement, sales, and inventory management to ensure efficient supply chain operations

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience in logistics coordination or a similar role
- Knowledge of transportation regulations, customs procedures, and supply chain management principles
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Hindi (additional languages are a plus)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, and Outlook

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in the logistics industry in Saudi Arabia
- Familiarity with local shipping regulations and customs procedures
