HC1072 General Electric Healthcare Arabia Company Limited is seeking a Logistics Specialist to coordinate domestic and international shipments, manage transportation and customs clearance, and ensure inventory accuracy. You will work closely with suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal teams to optimize logistics operations in a healthcare environment.
The role requires a Bachelor's degree in SCM/Logistics or related fields and 3–5 years of experience, with strong Excel skills and knowledge
The Logistics Specialist is responsible for managing and coordinating logistics, transportation, warehousing, and supply chain activities to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of products, spare parts, and materials. The role works closely with internal stakeholders, suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and service teams to optimize logistics operations and support business objectives while maintaining compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering. 3 to 5 years of experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, Transportation, or Warehouse Operations. Strong knowledge of import/export regulations, customs clearance, and transportation management. Experience working with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms). Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. Professional certifications such as APICS (CPIM/CSCP), CILT, or Lean Six Sigma are plus. Experience in healthcare, medical devices, or highly regulated industries is preferred. Knowledge of international trade regulations and customs compliance.
