Job summary

ABB is seeking an HR Business Partner to align HR strategies with business objectives in our Service Local Division in Riyadh. You will lead performance management, talent development, recruitment onboarding, and organizational capability building, while ensuring compliance with local labor laws.

Fluent in Arabic and English, you will partner with managers to drive change, relocations, and international assignments in a Western/global context.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years HR experience, including at least 2 years in an HR Business Partner (HRBP) role.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, or a related field.
• International exposure through studying or working abroad, or experience working within a Western/global organization.
• Fluent in both Arabic and English, with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Align HR and workforce strategies with business objectives, including workforce planning and labor cost budgeting.
• Lead performance management activities by supporting managers, facilitating people reviews, coaching on employee development, and ensuring execution of development plans.
• Drive talent management and organizational capability building through recruitment, onboarding, training, competency development, succession planning, and talent development programs.
• Advise managers on employee relations, compensation, benefits, organizational changes, relocations, and workforce transitions while ensuring compliance with company policies and local labor laws.
• Support employees and leaders by providing HR guidance, leadership coaching, international assignment support, and change management during reorganizations, mergers, joint ventures, and other transformation initiatives.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to execute service work with low to medium complexity as per work instructions and in accordance with ABB standard processes, quality standards, and safety guidelines. Each day, you will plan and execute work on a first-time right approach with customers. You will also showcase your expertise by displaying a clear understanding of sense of urgency and care in your own area of responsibility.

Qualifications For The Role

• International exposure through studying or working abroad, or experience working within a Western/global organization, with the ability to navigate cultural differences effectively.

• Fluent in both Arabic and English, with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
