Job summary

CIB MARS is hiring a Lifting Inspection Engineer to perform inspections of lifting equipment across projects in UAE/KSA/Pakistan as required. You will conduct visual and load testing, document findings, and prepare precise reports in line with safety and ISO standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical engineering.
2–6 years experience in lifting equipment inspection, QA/QC, maintenance, or related industrial inspection roles.
Knowledge of lifting standards and safety regulations; ISO 17020 experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Conduct inspections of lifting equipment and lifting accessories including cranes, hoists, forklifts, MEWPs, slings, shackles, beams.
Perform visual inspections, functional testing, and load testing where applicable.
Identify and document defects, non-conformities, and safety-critical findings.
Prepare accurate inspection reports and technical documentation per standards.
Ensure compliance with ISO/IEC 17020 inspection requirements and safety regulations.
Maintain proper use and control of inspection instruments and calibrated equipment.
Deliver technical guidance and operational training to operators and site personnel as required.
Maintain professional communication with clients and internal technical teams.
