Job summary

CIB MARS is hiring a Lifting Inspection Engineer to perform inspections of lifting equipment across projects in UAE/KSA/Pakistan as required. You will conduct visual and load testing, document findings, and prepare precise reports in line with safety and ISO standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical engineering.
• 2–6 years experience in lifting equipment inspection, QA/QC, maintenance, or related industrial inspection roles.
• Knowledge of lifting standards and safety regulations; ISO 17020 experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of lifting equipment and lifting accessories including cranes, hoists, forklifts, MEWPs, slings, shackles, beams.
• Perform visual inspections, functional testing, and load testing where applicable.
• Identify and document defects, non-conformities, and safety-critical findings.
• Prepare accurate inspection reports and technical documentation per standards.
• Ensure compliance with ISO/IEC 17020 inspection requirements and safety regulations.
• Maintain proper use and control of inspection instruments and calibrated equipment.
• Deliver technical guidance and operational training to operators and site personnel as required.
• Maintain professional communication with clients and internal technical teams.

Qualifications & Experience

• Knowledge of lifting standards and safety regulations
• Experience in third-party inspection or ISO 17020 environment is an advantage
• Certifications such as LEEA, ASNT, CSWIP, IPAF, or OEM training will be considered beneficial
