Job description

Legal Advisor – Saudi Banking Lawyer (In‑House)

One of Saudi Arabia’s largest commercial banks is seeking an experienced Saudi banking lawyer to join their legal department in Riyadh.

Responsibilities
  • Develop a thorough and current understanding of international and local law.
  • Provide legal input and advice for all operations, transactions and agreements in the specified field of operation/locations.
  • Ensure the legal documentation is in place to support all transactions.
  • Develop close collaborative ties with international firms to ensure transfer of state‑of‑the‑art technology and best legal practice to the business.
  • Liaise with external legal counsel and advisors as required.
  • Provide management information to the Head of Legal on a periodic and ad‑hoc basis.
Qualifications
  • 5‑8 years of professional experience within the banking & finance field.
  • Legal education in Saudi Arabia; further education from a recognized university (US/UK preferred), or a Saudi LLM holder will also be considered.
  • Several years’ exposure to high‑profile banking matters in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Salary

$85,000 to $120,000.
