Job summary

King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals invites qualified instructors to join the Prep Year Program to teach physical science, support new students, and contribute to curriculum development.

Candidates with an M.Sc. in Physics or Education and at least three years of teaching experience, including exposure to Western institutions, are urged to apply, with research opportunities outside teaching hours.

Job description

Job Responsibility:

Successful candidates will be mostly committed to teaching physical science and supporting fresh students enrolled in the Prep Year Program. Based on the applicant’s experience, he may be involved in curriculum development and participate in committees working towards the continuous improvement/enhancement of the Prep Year program. Also, he can pursue his research interests outside the working hours.

• Two-year renewable contract.

Qualifications:

M.Sc. in Physics or Education and three years of teaching at college/undergraduate level. Industrial experience is a plus. Teaching experience at Western (USA, Canada, UK, Australia…) institutions is preferred. Excellent communication skills, oral and written, in English, is a must.
