Job summary

Asmacs FZC Company in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, seeks a Lead Quantity Surveyor to oversee all QS, commercial, and cost-control activities for Oil & Gas projects. You will prepare and review BOQ, take-offs, estimates, and rate analysis while monitoring costs, budgets, commitments and forecasts.

You will also manage variations, change orders, claims, and EOT-related commercial matters, review payment applications, and lead subcontractor activities and final accounts.

Responsibilities

• Lead all Quantity Surveying, commercial, and cost-control activities for Oil & Gas projects.
• Prepare and review BOQ, quantity take-offs, estimates, and rate analysis.
• Monitor project costs, budgets, commitments, and forecasts.
• Manage variations, change orders, claims, and EOT-related commercial matters.
• Review and certify contractor/subcontractor payment applications.
• Manage subcontractor commercial activities, valuations, and final accounts.
• Review contracts, specifications, drawings, and commercial terms.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Planning, Contracts, and Finance teams.
• Prepare monthly cost and commercial reports for management.
• Support tendering, procurement, commercial evaluations, and negotiations.
• Ensure accurate measurement, quantity reconciliation, and cost recovery.
• Lead and mentor QS/commercial team members.
• Ensure compliance with project contracts, company procedures, and client requirements.
