Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Saudi Arabia seeks a Senior Planning Engineer to lead project planning, scheduling and controls for large-scale developments. You will develop and manage schedules, monitor progress, perform delay and risk analyses, and provide planning support with stakeholders to drive milestones.

The role requires collaboration with clients, contractors and consultants, with a focus on delivering value through robust plans, dashboards and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent. Primavera P6 capability/certification preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Planning and Controls.
• Baseline programme review, progress monitoring, look-ahead schedules, delay analysis, EOT support, progress dashboards and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Review contractor baseline schedules for compliance with contract requirements and milestones.
• Monitor progress against approved baselines and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare short- and long-term look-ahead schedules for execution and resource planning.
• Analyze schedule risks, critical paths, constraints, and impact on delivery.
• Conduct delay analyses and support EOT assessments and claims evaluation.
• Develop dashboards, KPI reports, earned value metrics, and schedule performance analyses.
• Coordinate with resident engineers, construction managers, and client reps to collect data.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports with executive summaries.
