AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Design Manager - Mechanical in Saudi Arabia to lead the mechanical engineering design function across projects, ensuring technical excellence and compliance with industry standards. The role requires coordinating with civil, structural, electrical, instrumentation, and process disciplines, managing budgets, and driving value engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering required; Master's degree an advantage.
• Minimum 10–15 years of experience in mechanical engineering design, including leadership or management roles.
• Proven track record delivering large-scale hospitality or leisure projects (hotels, resorts, entertainment venues).
• Strong knowledge of international codes, standards, and industry best practices; ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical engineering design activities from concept to construction support.
• Develop and review deliverables, specifications, calculations, reports and drawings.
• Ensure designs comply with codes, standards, and client requirements.
