Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Senior Life Safety Engineer in Riyadh to lead fire safety design for a major transportation project. You will collaborate with design, engineering and construction teams to ensure compliance with codes and safety standards.

The role emphasizes governance development, coordination with authorities, and providing on-site engineering expertise during construction and handover. Saudi experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Hold a degree from a recognized university in engineering or a college diploma in engineering technology.
• Minimum 12 years of experience in design, supervision, construction and commissioning of transport facilities with life safety systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance on life safety systems design across planning, design and delivery.
• Coordinate governance and processes for life safety engineering practices.
• Represent Fire Life Safety coordination with authorities having jurisdiction.
• Ensure design and construction comply with codes, reviews and inspections.
• Provide engineering expertise through field inspections during construction.
• Review contractor submissions for compliance with requirements and standards.
• Assist in coordinating interfaces with other disciplines for integration.
