Job summary

Thoughtworks is seeking an experienced Lead Experience Designer for its Riyadh team. You will drive AI-powered product design from concept to shipped solutions, collaborating with Product Managers, Data/AI specialists, and engineers in a fast-paced, pod-based environment.

You will shape AI-native experiences, champion accessibility, and help build local design capabilities while nurturing client relationships in the Middle East.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in product design with end-to-end ownership of shipped digital products.
• Experience leading design on large-scale programs and collaborating with senior stakeholders.
• Expertise in user research, journey mapping, rapid prototyping and lean validation.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Design Ownership: lead design across engagement phases and build interactive prototypes.
• AI-Native & Agentic UX: shape multi-modal and autonomous agent flows with responsible AI guardrails.
• AI-Accelerated Practice: use AI tools to accelerate ideation and research without sacrificing craft.
• Lean User Research & Testing: conduct rapid research and champion accessible, inclusive design.
• Design Systems & Scalability: govern design systems with engineering for consistency.
• Consultative Leadership & Advisory: advise clients, influence engagements, and shape proposals.
• Practice Building & Culture: help grow Thoughtworks' regional Experience Design capability.
