Job summary

Thoughtworks is seeking an experienced Lead Experience Designer to drive AI-powered products in Riyadh. You will lead end-to-end design, shape agentic UX, and collaborate with Product Managers, Data/AI specialists, and engineers to ship impactful experiences.

The role blends hands-on interaction design, strategic advisory, and building local design capability in the Middle East. Hybrid model applies, with on-site work expected as part of the regional growth journey.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in product design with end-to-end ownership.
• Led design on large-scale programs and navigated senior stakeholders.
• Expertise in user research, journey mapping, wireframing, rapid prototyping.
• Fluency in designing for AI and data-driven products with AI tools.
• Experience scaling human-centered design amid rapid transformation.
• Strong grounding in accessibility and inclusive design.
• Experience with conversational interfaces: AI chat, voice, multimodal.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design across discovery to shipped products.
• Shape AI-native, multi-modal UX with trust and transparency.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate ideation without compromising craft.
• Conduct lightweight research and validate accessibility from day one.
• Build and govern design systems in partnership with engineering.
• Advise clients and shape engagements in pre-sales and proposals.
• Help establish local Experience Design capabilities in the region.
