Job summary

KBR, Inc. in Saudi Arabia seeks a seasoned cost estimator with 10–20 years in EPC cost estimation for oil and gas/pipeline projects. You will lead classified estimates through development, and oversee estimate plans and WBS-based cost breakdowns for major projects.

You will review basis of estimates, coordinate with project teams to define TIC requirements, and present reports to management and clients. Expertise with Aspen Capital Cost Estimator and SAEP-25 is a plus; mentoring and MS Office

Qualifications

• Minimum 10–20 years in project cost estimation for EPC oil & gas/pipeline
• Lead the preparation of classified estimates; manage estimate plans; familiar with WBS for cost breakdowns
• Prepare and review cost estimate bases (Productivity Factor, All-in Rates, Material, Construction)
• Lead and coordinate with project teams to develop TIC estimate requirements
• Review, validate and present cost estimate reports to management and clients; knowledge of Aspen Capital Cost Estimator (Advantage); SAEP-25 familiarization
• Provide guidance and mentoring to estimators; ensure best practices in estimating
• MS Office proficiency (Word, Excel)

Job description

• Minimum (10 to 20) years' experience in project cost estimation for engineering, procurement and construction for major Oil and Gas/Pipeline projects.
• Lead the preparation of classified estimates during project development stages. Prepare and manage estimate plans. Familiar with WBS process for developing the estimate cost breakdown structure.
• Prepare and review cost estimate basis (Productivity Factor, All-in Rates, Material, Construction, etc.).
• Lead and coordinate with project teams to develop all requirements needed for the TIC Estimate.
• Review, validate and present cost estimate reports to management and clients. Knowledge in Aspen Capital Cost Estimator (Advantage). Familiarization with SAEP-25.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to estimators and ensure estimating best practices are followed.
• Computer literate with all MS Packages, particularly Word and Excel proficient.
