Job summary

VB0004 General Electric Global Services GMBH - Saudi Arabia Branch (Al-Khobar) seeks a Lead DCS Field Engineer to oversee on-site installation, commissioning, maintenance and troubleshooting of DCS controls hardware and software. You will report progress to clients and managers, coordinating resources to meet contract requirements.

The role requires 7+ years in DCS systems (Mark Vie, Cimplicity), strong knowledge of PLCs, field devices and instrumentation, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Engineering.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in DCS Controls systems (Mark Vie, etc.).
• Experience in Oil & Gas and Power Plant field activities.
• Fluent English.

Responsibilities

• On-site installation, commissioning, maintenance of DCS controls and instrumentation.
• Provide technical direction and support on OEM packaged products.
• Prepare field service reports and coordinate with service managers.
• Travel frequently (in-country and worldwide) and work overtime when required.
