Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Lead DCS Field Engineer to drive installation, commissioning and maintenance of DCS controls in oil, gas and power projects. You will troubleshoot complex systems, review P&IDs and wiring diagrams, and coordinate with project managers to ensure timely field delivery.

The role requires on-site leadership, extensive field experience, and the ability to travel frequently. Fluency in English and safety compliance are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Engineering.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in DCS Controls systems such as Mark Vie/s etc.
• Working experience in Oil & Gas and Power Plant industry field activities.
• Strong knowledge in rotating equipment control philosophy and their auxiliaries.
• Strong knowledge in field devices, instruments and actuators (servo-valves, transmitters etc.).
• Valid driver's license and passport (or able to obtain a passport).
• Fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Manage controls and instrumentation activities on-site during installation, commissioning and maintenance.
• Oversee DCS hardware and software troubleshooting and diagnostics.
• Provide technical direction and support on OEM packaged products.
• Read and modify software sequencing and ladder logic.
• Plan and coordinate field service jobs with project/service managers.
• Train customer employees as needed.
• Ensure safety and compliance with EHS guidelines.
