Job summary

Al Qadsiah Club seeks a seasoned procurement leader to oversee RFQ-based operations, drive governance, and manage staff while delivering commercial value across sourcing activities. You will supervise Buyers, validate evaluations, and push cost-saving initiatives for multi-category portfolios.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in a related field and 8 years of procurement experience with at least 3 years in a supervisory role, plus strong leadership and negotiation capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related discipline.
• 8+ years of procurement experience with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong leadership and commercial negotiation expertise.
• Experience managing multi-category procurement portfolios.
• Advanced reporting and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate RFQ activities executed by Buyers and Senior Buyers
• Review and validate commercial evaluations prior to submission for approval
• Lead negotiations for high-value strategic or critical procurement
• Ensure adherence to procurement policies, delegation of authority and budget controls
• Monitor procurement KPIs and implement corrective actions where necessary
• Drive cost-saving initiatives and sourcing optimization strategies
• Ensure complete documentation and audit readiness of all RFQ processes
• Evaluate and manage supplier performance and risk
• Support procurement planning and reporting to the Procurement Lead
• Provide coaching, performance management and development for team members
