Job summary

King Abdullah University of Science & Technology is seeking a Technology Support Lead to ensure classroom technologies, collaboration platforms, and end-user computing environments reliably support teaching, learning, research, and administration. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science, electronics, or related disciplines.
• 10+ years designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise AV and video conferencing systems.
• 4–6 years of networking, AV over IP, and conferencing infrastructure.
• Proficient with projection systems, displays, control systems (Biamp, Crestron, Extron, Cisco) and lecture capture.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of AV engineers, EUC specialists, and technicians.
• Oversee operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of classroom AV systems and EUC devices.
• Ensure service continuity by managing daily AV and EUC operations in line with policies and procedures defined by the manager.
• Develop and implement short- and long-term schedules for equipment lifecycle, upgrades, and replacements.
• Coordinate delivery of AV and EUC projects to meet timelines and quality standards.
• Provide technical consultancy and demonstrations to faculty, researchers, and staff.
