Job summary

Lucid Motors is seeking a Launch Engineer to plan, coordinate, and execute all launch activities for new vehicle programs, engineering changes, and manufacturing readiness. You will interface with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Logistics, and Product Development to ensure safe, on-time SOP and volume objectives.

You will lead readiness assessments, build-event coordination, issue management, validation, and operational readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in mechanical, electrical, or mechatronics engineering; master’s preferred.
• 3+ years of automotive manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Launch planning, readiness assessments, and cross-functional coordination.
• Lead prototype, pilot, validation, and production build activities.
• Coordinate vehicle scheduling, tooling, and manpower for launches.
• Track issues, drive closure plans, and escalate risks to leadership.
• Develop launch dashboards and scorecards for governance.
