Job summary

Lucid Motors is seeking a Sr. Launch Engineer to plan, coordinate, and execute all launch activities for new vehicle programs, engineering changes, and SOP readiness.

You will serve as the primary interface across Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Logistics, Program Management, and Product Development to ensure launches meet safety, quality, cost, timing, and volume targets. You will lead readiness assessments, build event coordination, issue management, validation activities,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• 5-8 years of experience in automotive manufacturing.
• Experience launching manufacturing and production lines.
• Hands-on experience with process validation, commissioning, and manufacturing quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Launch Planning & Readiness: develop and execute launch plans for new vehicle programs and major product changes.
• Build Event Coordination: lead prototype, pilot, validation, and production builds.
• Issue Management & Problem Resolution: document, prioritize, and monitor launch issues; drive closure plans.
• Manufacturing Readiness: assess manufacturing process readiness and validate equipment, tooling, and production systems.
• Product & Process Validation: coordinate vehicle and process validation builds; ensure changes are validated.
• Cross-Functional Leadership: coordinate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Logistics teams; lead meetings.
