BaseForce in Jizan is seeking a Land Surveyor Assistant to support a team of surveyors in conducting field surveys and data collection throughout the Jizan region. You will work closely with senior surveyors to ensure accurate field measurements and timely project progress.

The role requires familiarity with surveying methods and equipment, strong math skills, and the stamina to work outdoors in varying weather. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience as a land surveyor assistant is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setting up and operating surveying instruments such as total stations levels and GPS.
• Collect and record data on land features, boundaries, and structures using GPS, EDM, and hand measurements.
• Help prepare sketches and maps based on collected data.

As a Land Surveyor Assistant you will be responsible for assisting our team of surveyors in conducting land surveys and collecting data in the Jizan region

You will work closely with the surveyors to ensure accurate and timely completion of projects

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in setting up and operating surveying instruments such as total stations levels and GPS


• Collect and record data on land features boundaries and structures using various methods including GPS electronic distance measurement EDM and hand-measuring tools


• Help prepare sketches and maps based on collected data


• Perform routine maintenance and calibration of surveying equipment


• Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment


• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and troubleshoot any issues that may arise

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent


• Previous experience as a land surveyor assistant preferred


• Familiarity with surveying equipment and techniques


• Strong mathematical skills


• Attention to detail


• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions


• Physically fit and able to lift heavy equipment if necessary


• Valid drivers license
