Job summary

La Petite Maison (LPM) in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia, is seeking a seasoned Chef de Partie or junior Sous Chef to support the Sous and Head Chef in daily kitchen management.

You will oversee preparation, maintain high standards, and step in as needed during busy services, ensuring consistent plating and food safety.

English is a must, with French or Arabic language skills welcomed as a bonus.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of kitchen experience, with at least 1-2 years as a Chef de Partie or Junior Sous Chef in a fine dining or upscale kitchen.
• Strong technical foundation with a keen eye for consistency, organisation, and leadership potential.
• English is a must. French, Arabic, or another language, even better.

Responsibilities

• Oversee food preparation, cooking, and plating to ensure precision and quality across all sections.
• Support the Sous Chef and Head Chef in daily kitchen management and leadership on busy services.
• Maintain hygiene and safety standards across all kitchen stations.
• Lead by example, train junior staff, and step in to run the kitchen when needed.
• Keep inventory organized and adapt to service demands without compromising quality.
