Responsibilities

• Resolve defects under supervision with code review.
• Build UI screens using Vue.js (lists, filters, data entry).
• Write server API endpoints for retrieving/saving data per codebase patterns.
• Write and test database queries; assist with migrations.
• Maintain interface translations English/Arabic/Hindi including RTL corrections.
• Test work before review; verify mobile responsiveness.
• Record notes and contribute to team documentation.
• Learn domain: tenants, companies, chart of accounts, journals, fiscal periods, approvals.
• Escalate blockers after attempting independent resolution.
• Aim to own a defined module within 12 months, subject to progress.

Job description

Support the development of the ERP platform under the supervision of the Senior Software Developer. The post-holder will progress from supervised defect resolution and small features towards independent ownership of defined modules. The role is intended to develop capability over time; candidates are assessed on aptitude

and rate of learning rather than existing knowledge of the technology.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Resolve defects across the application under supervision, with all work subject to code review.
• Build user interface screens including lists, filters and data entry forms using Vue.js.
• Write server API endpoints for retrieving and saving data, following established patterns in the codebase.
• Write and test database queries; assist with database migrations under supervision.
• Maintain interface translations across English, Arabic and Hindi, including right-to-left layout corrections.
• Test completed work before submitting it for review, including checking behaviour on mobile screen sizes.
• Record clear notes on work completed and problems encountered, contributing to team documentation.
• Learn the business domain, including tenants and companies, chart of accounts, journal entries, fiscal periods and approval workflows.
• Escalate blockers promptly, after making a reasonable attempt to resolve them independently.
• Assume responsibility for a defined module within twelve (12) months, subject to satisfactory progress.
