Job summary

ALEC Holdings invites a detail-oriented Junior Quantity Surveyor to join its commercial team in Riyadh. You will contribute to cost control, prepare BOQs, take-offs, and support monthly reporting across luxury hospitality and commercial projects.

You will work under the Quantity Surveyor, coordinating with project managers, subcontractors, and site teams to ensure accurate documentation, timely payments, and QA of cost data.

Qualifications

• 0-1 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor in construction.
• Knowledge of project cost control, quantity take-offs, delay/claims management.
• Proficiency in MS Office, CCS, financial reporting and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Prepare project start-up forms and insurance documentation.
• Assist in preparing insurance claims and notifications for delays, loss, and expenses.
• Support in developing delay/disruption claims (Time and Cost).
• Prepare BOQs and quantity take-offs from drawings.
• Measure site progress and assist in preparing payment applications.
• Maintain and verify site asset registers.
• Assist in compiling monthly progress applications for the client.
• Review subcontractor payment applications and documentation.
• Support preparation of payments and contra charges.
• Contribute to monthly cost reporting and documentation.
• Promote effective communication within the commercial team.
• Uphold ALEC’s professional image at all times.
