Job description

We are looking for a Junior MoCap Technician to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will support the setup, operation, and maintenance of PXO’s motion capture systems. Working under the guidance of senior staff, you will gain hands‑on experience in calibration, troubleshooting, and on‑set integration with other production departments. This position is ideal for individuals eager to learn and grow their technical skills in a fast‑paced Virtual Production environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with aligning and calibrating the motion capture camera volume.
  • Support pre‑production activities, including equipment setup and camera placement.
  • Work under the guidance of senior staff to maintain MoCap systems (cameras, tracking objects, cabling, and A/V signal flow).
  • Help the camera department with calibration workflows between takes or lens changes.
  • Mount and adjust tracking hardware on set during shoots as directed.
  • Participate in daily calibration of the volume and tracking objects.
  • Troubleshoot basic technical issues, escalating complex problems to senior technicians.
  • Document daily activities and provide updates to the Virtual Production team.
  • Contribute to stage reports and system improvement notes.
  • Experience or familiarity with film production, live events, or related technical fields.
  • Interest in motion capture systems and production workflows.
  • Basic understanding of set etiquette and A/V signal flow.
  • Strong problem‑solving mindset and willingness to learn.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
