Job Summary

The IT Manager will be responsible for leading and managing the company’s overall IT strategy, infrastructure, systems, and technology operations. The role focuses on strategic IT planning, governance, ERP systems, infrastructure development, system integration, vendor management, and cost control to ensure reliable, secure, and efficient IT services aligned with business objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Strategic IT Planning & Governance: Develop and implement the company’s IT strategy in alignment with business goals; establish IT governance frameworks, policies, procedures, and standards; advise top management on technology investments, risks, and opportunities.
  • Infrastructure & Data Center Management: Oversee IT infrastructure including servers, networks, storage, security systems, and cloud/on-prem solutions; manage data center operations, availability, backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans; ensure high availability, scalability, and security of all IT systems.
  • ERP & System Integration: Lead ERP implementation, enhancement, planning, and optimization projects; manage system integrations between ERP, finance, HR, operations, logistics, and third-party platforms; ensure data integrity, system performance, and process automation.
  • Project Management: Plan, manage, and deliver IT projects within scope, budget, and timelines; apply project management best practices and methodologies; coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure successful execution.
  • Process Improvement: Analyze existing IT and business processes and identify improvement opportunities; implement technology-driven solutions to enhance efficiency, productivity, and control; support digital transformation initiatives across departments.
  • Vendor Management: Select, manage, and evaluate IT vendors, service providers, and consultants; negotiate contracts, SLAs, pricing, and service levels; ensure vendors meet performance, security, and compliance requirements.
  • Estimation & Cost Control: Prepare IT budgets, cost estimates, and forecasts; monitor IT spending and control operational and project costs; optimize IT resources to ensure cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
  • Team Leadership & Support: Lead, mentor, and manage the IT team; define roles, responsibilities, KPIs, and development plans; ensure effective user support and service delivery across the organization.
Qualifications & Experience

Education
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Professional certifications (PMP, ITIL, COBIT, ERP certifications) are an advantage.

Experience
Minimum 10 years of progressive IT experience, including managerial or leadership roles. Proven Experience In: Strategic IT planning and governance; Infrastructure and data center management; ERP implementation and planning; System integration; Project management; Vendor management; Cost estimation and budget control.

Skills & Competencies

Strong leadership and decision-making skills; excellent project and stakeholder management abilities; strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills; ability to translate business needs into IT solutions; excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage).

Preferred Industry Experience

Logistics, ports, bonded zones, warehousing, transportation, or large operational environments is highly preferred.
