Job summary

Air Products is seeking an IT Infrastructure/Desktop Support professional to manage structured cabling, IT room layouts, and camera/security network deployments on site in Saudi Arabia.Responsibilities include coordinating with external vendors, ensuring safety standards, and maintaining documentation for inspections.

Ideal candidates have a degree in Information Systems or CS, English proficiency, and proven desktop support experience.

Qualifications

• Degree in Information Systems or Computer Science or equivalent
• Good written and spoken English language skills
• Proven work experience in desktop support or other IT infrastructure areas
• Knowledge of ITIL processes used by Air Products

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper cable management, labelling and compliance with standards.
• Supervise installation, termination and testing of structured cabling for data, voice and CCTV systems.
• Monitor OTDR, perform tests and document results.
• Layout IT room cabinets and manage equipment and cabling with labeling and documentation.
• Inspect and verify installation of communication cables meeting project requirements.
• Coordinate with DT Infrastructure and support services with external parties.
• Troubleshoot and repair damaged cabling, connectors and network drops.
• Assist DT Project team with installation and configuration of DMZ.
• Perform site activities in health and safety compliance.
• Prepare and maintain ITR documentation and upload to Aconex and OT.
• Set up temporary IT infrastructure including networking and VPNs.
• Provide local coordination for issue remediation with remote DIS teams.
• Provide IT support and maintain IT standards for IT rooms.
• Support industrial control systems at site and upgrade network hardware.
