Job summary

Wisayah Investment Company is seeking an Investment Associate to support the department Head in sourcing, evaluating, and monitoring fund, co-investment, and direct opportunities across GCC real assets and global agriculture strategies.

The role requires strong analytical, valuation, due diligence, and stakeholder management abilities, with exposure to regional direct investments and global manager selection activities.

Qualifications

• Degree in finance, economics, accounting or related discipline.
• 5+ years in asset management, private equity, real estate, infrastructure, or related fields.
• Fluency in Arabic and English (reading, writing, speaking).

Responsibilities

• Conduct qualitative and quantitative due diligence on fund, co-investment, and direct investment opportunities.
• Perform financial modelling, valuation analysis, and sensitivity testing to support decisions.
• Source, screen, and evaluate investment opportunities with stakeholders.
• Prepare teasers, memoranda, portfolio reviews, and Investment Committee materials.
• Review financial statements, business plans, and market data to assess opportunities and risks.
• Participate in due diligence across commercial, financial, legal, and operational areas.
• Support transaction execution and monitor portfolio performance and risk reports.
• Conduct sector research and build relationships with investment stakeholders.

Job description

The Investment Associate supports the department Head in sourcing, evaluating, executing, and monitoring fund, co-investment, and direct investment opportunities across GCC real assets and global agriculture strategies. The role requires strong analytical, valuation, due diligence, and stakeholder management capabilities, with exposure to both regional direct investments and global manager selection activities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct qualitative and quantitative due diligence on fund, co-investment, and direct investment opportunities.
• Perform financial modelling, valuation analysis, comparable company analysis, and sensitivity testing to support investment decision-making.
• Source, screen, and evaluate investment opportunities through engagement with different investment stakeholders.
• Prepare investment teasers, investment memoranda, portfolio reviews, and Investment Committee materials.
• Review financial statements, business plans, operating metrics, and market data to assess investment opportunities and risks.
• Participate in commercial, financial, legal, and operational due diligence processes.
• Support transaction execution activities.
• Monitor portfolio investments and prepare performance, valuation, and risk assessment reports.
• Conduct researches across related investment sectors.
• Build and maintain relationships with different investment stakeholders.
• Participate in management meetings, site visits, conferences, advisory boards, and investor meetings.
• Support special projects, strategic analyses, and ad hoc assignments as directed by the Head of the Department.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related discipline.

Required Skills

• Strong financial modelling, valuation, and investment analysis capabilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders, counterparties and advisors.
• Ability to conduct industry research and develop investment insights to support decision-making.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in asset management, private equity, real estate, infrastructure, investment banking, transaction advisory, corporate development, or related fields.
• Fluency in Arabic and English (reading, writing, and speaking) is required.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in private markets, alternative investments, and/or real assets is preferred.
• Prior experience within the investment management or financial services industry, such as a pension fund, endowment, family office, asset manager, or investment firm, is strongly preferred.
• Professional qualifications such as CFA, CAIA, or equivalent are considered an advantage.
