Job summary

BAE Systems is seeking an Instructor Pilot (Basic) to instruct cadets on the PC-21 based in Al-Majmaah. The role reports to the Head of Flying (KFAA) and requires substantial military instructional experience and a valid RAF A2 instructor qualification (or equivalent).

Applicants must have 1500 total flying hours (800 on fixed-wing), at least 400 basic instructional hours, and be no older than 51 on contract. Expatriate and Saudi national benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Be a highly experienced military or ex-military Flying Instructor with an RAF A2 instructor qualification (or equivalent) for Basic instruction.
• Total flying hours: minimum 1500, with 800 on fixed‑wing aircraft.
• Basic instructional hours: minimum 400.
• Maximum age when contracted: 51.
• Strong people development competencies and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to communicate, influence and direct Saudi cadets both in the air and on the ground.

Responsibilities

• fly instructional missions for cadets in accordance with Royal Saudi Air Force training syllabi.
• report to the Head of Flying (KFAA).
