Job summary

BAE Systems Saudi Arabia invites experienced instructors for the Instructor Pilot (Basic) role in Al-Majmaah. You will deliver cadet flight and ground training, assess safety, and ensure compliance with RSAF and KSA regulations.

Qualifications

• Be a highly experienced military or ex-military Flying Instructor with an RAF A2 instructor qualification (or equivalent) for Basic instruction.
• Total flying hours: minimum 1500, with 800 on fixed wing aircraft.
• Minimum Basic flying instructional hours: 400.
• Maximum contracted age: 51.
• Strong people development and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to communicate, influence and direct Saudi cadets in air and on ground.
• Proficient verbal and written English communication and networking.

Responsibilities

• Fly instructional missions for cadets in accordance with RSAF training syllabi.
• Perform flying operations and cadet training per KSA Flying Regulations and RSAF Regulations.
• Identify aviation safety risks and propose mitigations to Sqn Supervisor.
• Provide air operations subject matter expertise as required.
• Deliver ground training lectures and synthetic device missions to cadets as scheduled.
• Monitor cadet progress and report issues to Sqn Supervisory staff.
• Generate reports and maintain safety culture within the Sqn.
