Overview

We are seeking an experienced Installation Team Leader with KONE super high-rise installation mindset to provide professional supervision and leadership for the installation of Elevators and Jump Lifts at the World's Tallest Building, Jeddah Tower, in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This role is critical to ensure exceptional project delivery and the ultimate customer experience.

In this role, you will be at the core of KONE - an everyday hero who makes people's lives easier.

Responsibilities
  • Lead Landmark Installations: Directly responsible for driving and executing the installation of the groundbreaking First Jump Lift in Saudi Arabia and the World's Highest Travel Elevators in the iconic Jeddah Tower.
  • Methodical Installation: Execute the installation precisely according to the pre-determined method instructions and project schedule.
  • Progress Reporting: Maintain clear communication by consistently reporting installation progress and reacting swiftly to unexpected events, escalating issues immediately to the Field Supervisor.
  • Operational Excellence: Apply Lean principles to maximize efficiency, avoid work interruptions, and consistently follow and promote daily huddle initiatives.
  • Drive High Quality: Ensure the high-quality and timely installation of all equipment by strictly adhering to KONE installation methods and procedures (e.g., AM instructions) throughout the process.
  • Prioritize Safety (STOP & GO): Champion site safety by applying best practices, proactively identifying risks, and rigorously implementing STOP and GO principles.
  • Tooling Management: Maintain the safety and good working condition of all installation tooling and equipment.
  • Continuous Improvement: Promote the use of quality feedback forms and proactively contribute to the ongoing improvement of the product by providing valuable feedback to the supply line.
  • Site Environment Management: Effectively manage the equipment installation environment and workspace throughout all installation activities.
  • Materials Handling & Security: Perform the reception, checking, and accurate storage of delivered materials. Ensure the security of all equipment through correct handling and secure storage on-site.
  • Customer Communication: Manage day-to-day on-site communication with the customer regarding installation activities, ensuring continuous coordination with the Field Supervisor.
  • Promote Transparency: Promote regular and proactive on-site communication to both the customer and the end-users of the equipment to ensure alignment and the best customer experience.
Qualifications
  • Hold Diploma in Engineering or ITI/Vocational Certification in Electrical, Electronics, Automation, or a related field.
  • 15-20 years of proven experience in the elevator and escalator industry, including significant involvement in high-rise and Jump Lift installation projects.
  • Proficient in both English and Arabic, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with experience in managing and supervising on-site teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and negotiate with contractors, clients, and key stakeholders.
  • High attention to detail with a focus on design accuracy, safety standards, and regulatory compliance.
