The candidate will work with hydraulics, pneumatics, and power transmission systems, read blueprints, and follow safety standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma or technical certificate in mechanical engineering or related field.
• Experience as mechanical technician in manufacturing/industrial setting, preferably in can manufacturing.
• Ability to read drawings and schematics; safe handling of tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance on mechanical equipment.
• Diagnose malfunctions using blueprints and diagnostic tools.
• Execute repairs, overhauls, and part replacements following safety standards.
• Conduct equipment inspections and identify issues or improvements.
• Assist in installation and commissioning of new equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and parts.
• Adhere to safety policies and promote a safe environment.
• Collaborate with production and engineering to optimize performance.
• Provide support for emergency breakdowns and respond to failures.
