Qualifications

• Diploma or technical certificate in mechanical engineering or related field.
• Experience as mechanical technician in manufacturing/industrial setting, preferably in can manufacturing.
• Ability to read drawings and schematics; safe handling of tools.

Responsibilities

CROWN Arabia Can Company Ltd is seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to perform maintenance troubleshooting and repair of mechanical equipment and systems within our manufacturing facility. This role ensures the efficient and reliable operation of production machinery minimizing downtime and optimizing performance.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance on a variety of mechanical equipment including presses conveyors motors pumps and other production machinery.
• Diagnose mechanical malfunctions and effectively troubleshoot issues using blueprints schematics and diagnostic tools.
• Execute repairs overhauls and replacements of defective parts ensuring adherence to safety standards and quality control.
• Conduct equipment inspections and identify potential issues or areas for improvement.
• Assist in the installation and commissioning of new mechanical equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities repairs and parts used.
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures promoting a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to optimize equipment performance and resolve recurring issues.
• Provide support for emergency breakdowns and respond promptly to critical equipment failures.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Technical Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Mechanical Technician in a manufacturing or industrial environment, preferably in a can manufacturing or similar high-volume production setting.
