Job summary

Tuwaiq Casting & Forging Company is seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to join the Maintenance Department. This role leads design, analysis, and optimization of control systems across melting, casting, forging, heat treatment, machining, and utilities automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Control Systems Engineering.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with MES, DCS, HMI, PLC, SCADA, and automation instrumentation.
• Strong knowledge of PLCs and SCADA networks.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze control systems across the facility.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting for automation equipment.
• Maintain safety interlocks, alarms, and EHS compliance.
• Lead root cause analyses (RCA) and implement corrective actions.
• Support site commissioning and project reviews for automation.
• Assist with maintenance planning and spare part stocking.
